To all employees of IntegraSeal,
I am writing this letter as a result of overwhelming gratitude for your company, your employees and most of all, your product. It is not everyday that a product or especially customer service exceeds our expectations. We want to tell you that everything about your company reaches outstanding heights of professionalism, customer service and quality. Our situation is a fairly common one and therefore I want to share with everyone the dramatic way in which Integra Seal bettered the lives of my family members.
To better understand the impact this product had on my family, you must first be aware of our health history. Both my son and I have allergies to mold, with my son’s being the most severe and capable of triggering life threatening asthma attacks. With this ever present health issue a major part of our lives, we are always cautious in our home environment. Having previously built a new home in 2000, we elected to finish out only the exposed portion of a walk out basement in an attempt to prevent the moisture and mildew present in the subterraneous areas. In an effort to prevent some moisture, we painted the concrete floor surfaces which were not carpeted, designed a wall of windows for plenty of light and air circulation and took all standard measures of water and moisture control such as tar sealing the foundation walls, installing drain tile and a sump pump. Even with all these preventive measures, the basement which was professionally finished, soon developed a “basement” feel.
When we found ourselves constructing yet another home in 2005, we again had these issues to address. Not wanting to sacrifice the space and convenience of a finished lower level, we again partially finished a walk out basement with numerous windows. This time was different. This time we had been shown an amazing product developed to permanently seal concrete. Both the permanency and the science behind this product which makes concrete impermeable to water convinced us that no concrete, foundation or otherwise, should be without such a Deep Seal. We decided it was a good investment to use the Deep Seal on the foundation floors and walls. The penetration of the product would still allow us to paint the unfinished floors at a later stage if we desired. Not knowing exactly what results to expect, we knew it would only improve the concrete foundation. What we did not expect was the result we noticed almost immediately. Shortly, after the application of the product, which was done with the diligence and care one would use on their own home, our new home was insulated and sealed tight. Normally this is when the trouble begins. But to our surprise there was something missing in our basement. As you descended the basement stairs, you immediately knew there was something different. Something did not feel the same. Always in the past, when descending the stairs you knew by feel that you were going into the basement. There was always that tell tale pressure and “basement” feel that would hit you approximately three steps from the bottom. It was missing. No change in pressure, no dampness, no mildew, no “basement” feel. We were pleasantly amazed! Not only was this true and noticeable upon entering the lower level but it extended to the unfinished, unlit areas of the basement as well. The difference the Deep Seal made to our basement is dramatic and remains constant and has ensured that even those of us with the most extreme allergies can enjoy the finished lower level.
We never expected such a life changing result from your product and wanted to thank you for the impact it has had on our lives. We also want to thank you for the service and compassion with which your company conducts business.
